- if we are talking about installing a warm plinth in a room large enough in area, and the number of panels that need to be connected exceeds 17 pieces, you need to use several blocks. This is primarily due to the fact that the total power of the panels connected to one unit should not exceed 200 watts. Moreover, in case of using several blocks, they must be connected separately and in parallel.
Calculations must be based on the rate of thermal efficiency of each element. Due to the fact that the power of the device may be different, one formula for the calculation does not exist, and the only thing that you can use as the basis – 1 kW of thermal energy corresponds to 10 m? surface floor to be heated. However, there is an exception here – this ratio is true only if the height of the ceilings in the room does not exceed 2.8 m.
